What new daily activities have you started or are learning since quarantine started?
During this unprecedented time in history we think it would be valuable to give people a space to share what is happening in their lives and give them the opportunity to connect with others over shared experiences. On this blog, there will be two prompts available to write on each week. One will be more reflective about your time in quarantine and the other will test your creativity. Feel free to respond to one or both of the blogs however you like!
If the sun were to fall out of the sky, I am not sure what would happen. It would be dark and cold all the time, and that would probably be kind of scary to be honest. I feel like if people were actually able to live if that were the case, people would be so sad. The sun brightens your day both literally and figuratively. For instance, when it is dark and rainy outside, a lot of people tend to feel sad, and same thing with the winter. When the weather is nice and the sun is shining, it can instantly change someone's mood. I would even want to think about what people would be like if it was always dark and dreary all the time.
ReplyDeleteAll I can keep thinking about is that if the sun fell out of the sky and we no longer had a sun, the Earth would be so cold. I really don't think that we would survive, but if we could, I imagine people coming together and finding ways to survive. A really important thing would be heat. We would need to find a source of heat and a way to survive. But then that makes me think about food. If we were able to survive, could the animals survive as well? Plants probably would survive because so many of them need a source of natural light, and that is the sun. I really don't know what to think about if the sun were to fall out of the sky. I mean obviously we would not survive, but if we were able to it would be interesting to see what would happen (not that I would want that to happen at all).
ReplyDeleteThis kind of reminds me of a book I read. It's really not the same thing, so I am not sure why it reminds me of it but it does. All of the parents just suddenly disappear one day, and the only people are the kids. They have to find ways to survive when this very important part of their lives that has been there all along is no longer there.
